At Ryann Kristena Events, our elopement series is inspired by the Grim Reaper and offers an experience for couples looking to celebrate their love in a unique and meaningful way. Our Grim Reaper Weddings combine the convenience and ease of a courthouse ceremony with the traditional elements of a wedding, for one special price.

You get the best of both worlds - an elopement style ceremony while having a venue and formal processional. The planning and design are done for you. You arrive to your venue before your ceremony, and everything is ready and waiting for you. The florals are set, the music is playing, and the chairs are set for your guests to take their seats. Your ceremony will be customized to you and your partner, and you’ll get time to take beautiful and romantic couples photos around the venue.
This is for you if: You want to have a wedding, you don’t want to worry about the details, you want something more cost efficient and small, and you’re into horror and dark and moody vibes. If that sounds like you, you’re in the right place!

As we’re relaunching our Grim Reaper Weddings for 2025, we’re expanding on what we can offer for our couples. Yes, we’re still offering the micro wedding style elopement on Day of The Dead, but we’re also offering Elopements, Micro Weddings, and Full Weddings. Based on your guest count, and wedding needs, Ryann Kristena Events will build you a custom proposal that includes your: venue, officiant (grim reaper optional), wedding planner, photographer, florals, invitation suite, rentals (if needed) and your ceremony audio.
Ryann Kristena Events has designed the whole thing for you. From stationery to venue to florals, we’ve got you covered. Elopement, Micro Wedding, or Full-size Wedding, we want you to have the dark romantic wedding of your dreams (nightmares?).

What happens once I fill out the contact form?
Once you fill out the form, you will receive a Grim Reaper Wedding Service Guide. This guide will give you information about the different wedding types - elopement, micro wedding, or full-size wedding, about the vendors, and pricing information. You’ll also receive a link to book a consultation with us to chat about which option is best for you. Once we’ve had our consultation, Ryann Kristena Events will build a custom proposal for you that includes everything.
Am I going to be able to speak to the vendors before my wedding?
Yes, absolutely! Included with each wedding is one 30-minute planning meeting with Ryann Kristena Events, one 30-minute photography planning meeting, and one 30-minute ceremony planning meeting with your officiant. We are here to make sure you get the most out of your experience.
